We had a blast these school holidays!
Whanau engagement is our prime focus at the moment we decided to invite families to join in our holiday programme. This is a great time where we plan exciting activities and parents who have time off from work come and join in on the fun. For the first week of school holidays we had a baking day, pet day, music day, pyjama party and a movie day.
It is amazing to see the Concept of AKO being enacted where reciprocal relationships is nurtured to ensure mohiutanga. By embracing our core values of respect, aroha, diversity and trust we support and foster relationships and work in partnership with our parents as this adds value to the centre's curriculum program.
The value of learning focused partnership with parents and whanau is reflected and this is what matters here at Everglade Preschool.
