We are so excited to share photos of our new playground - tamariki are finally able to explore all new areas and are very engaged in this new environment! We are super excited about our new sandpit, this is under cover and also has a barrel that collects rain water, through this play tamariki are exploring different sensory experiences, they are strengthening their muscles and learning to turn take, share and work with others. Alongside this they are using mathematic concepts such as measurement as well as being able to express their creativity.

Our new playground allows us to use our gross motor skills, develop our large muscle strength and balance, flexibility and concentration including hand-eye ensuring we grow confident over our bodies.  We are very excited to be able to use our new garden and watch things grow! This is supporting us to care for the environment and learn how things grow while fostering our sense of curiosity.
