We also had our plunket appeal week which the children all helped in creating a giant teddy bear. We have had the odd sock day which the children loved coming to show off their odd socks.
We had our Holi celebration were the children got involved in exploring colours.
To celebrate Easter, we did a lot of exciting activities like; baking easter cookies with Jodi which was a highlight.
In our kawakawa room this month we have been exploring the alphabet by focussing on a letter every week, the children have been enjoying this as they get to learn new words about each of the letters. We have also been concentrating on our days of the week and months of the year which the children have been doing great with, this has made them so confident in themselves as well as in their knowledge of the alphabet as well as the names of the days and months.
