We love celebrating at BestStart Faringdon!
As we welcomed in the month of April, we just couldn't contain our excitement for some easter celebrations in the Kakaruia Room. We embrace and love to celebrate with our tamariki, and what better way to show our easter spirit, than with an egg hunt!
During the week, we got busy and created some easter essentials that we would need to be ready for when the easter bunny hopped in to say hello. Our tamariki decided that they were going to give the easter bunny a hand and create their carrier baskets as well as their own eggs that the easter bunny could later hide, and sure enough, the sneaky bunny hid them all!
We are lucky enough to share our outdoor space with our friends in the tawaki room, and with this came a lot of opportunities to collaborate and celebrate together. Our tamariki had so much fun leading the younger tamariki around the playground in search for our beautifully coloured eggs. As if the celebrations weren't enough, our amazing kaiako decided that the easter bunny may need some helpers after hiding all those eggs, and so, we turned some of our tamariki into their very own bunnies!
Don't they just look fantastic! Maybe next year there will be some extra eggs hidden around thanks to all these amazing helpers.
