We love gardening!
Here at ABC Springlands we have a love for nature, creating a more sustainable environment for our littles ones future. As part of this is the care and maintenance of our vegetable gardens. We encourage our Children within the Ruma Pukeko class to help us with the weeding, planting, and care of our garden. This helps plant the seed of knowledge for them around gardening and how a garden can provide food to nourish our bodies. The children get to have free range exploring the different plants learning about the names of the plants and what they produce. Once the food is ready to be harvest the children then get to explore all the different tastes associated with the plants they have explored whilst gardening.
