We love our pets
Our BestStart Totara whanau brought in some of our amazing pets for the children to meet! We had a chocolate lab called Mac, a curly coated little dog (Kuri) called Frankie, a hedgehog (Tuatete) named Spike, Harley the black cat (Ngeru), Two goats (Koati) called Billy and Bruce and rottweiler Buddy come to visit for an amazing action packed day!!
The children were so excited to feed these pets, watch their tricks, and just have a cuddle and a play! Tamariki learnt that pets come in all shapes and sizes, even if they’re the same type of pet, like a dog. We also had families donate pet food to CARE, which was a great opportunity to support the community as well as give the value of generosity to our exciting day.
