We are so lucky to be in a community that is surrounded by so many local beaches and we know our children and their families spend a lot of time at the beach enjoying the water.

A significant part of our localized curriculum is engaging in water play on a daily basis. Water provides great learning opportunities in helping our tamariki explore the possibilities of what they can do with water through hand-eye coordination, body control, problem solving as well as supporting the children to work together.

We love to mix, tip, pour as well as add different colours and objects to the water. This is a popular activity here at BestStart Manly, and more times than not everyone ends up wet, not to mention it is a lot of fun!
