As we welcome spring, our infant and toddler room has been very curious about the world around them. We love to embrace the wonder and follow their lead. Our young tamariki have been exploring their reflection, developing their sensory skills, and exploring musical equipment.

We really embrace the concept of ako (when learning goes both ways). This is an important part of our local curriculum and philosophy and you often see it in action as an older tamariki support younger tamariki.

The older tamariki have been very interested in insects, going on insect hunts and really taking time to embrace papatuanuku and what she provides for the insects. Maddi one of our amazing kaiako has also been exploring insects in resin with the tamariki. We are ready for summer and lots of outside fun.
