We're going on a worm hunt
Here at BestStart Hei Hei we are working on being more sustainable and teaching our tamariki about the world around us and how we can help reduce our waste. We are passionate about the outdoors and gardening, especially with our secret garden, and have just recently got a worm farm for us to put our kai scraps into! The tamariki were very excited about this new addition to our centre and enjoy taking out the food scraps to feed them each day and hunting for the worms underneath the soil!
