During August, New Zealand went into lockdown again. This continued through September and October with Auckland remaining in Level 3 and other parts of country moved to Level 2. Auckland was soon joined by part of the Waikato and Northland in Level 3 again.

During lockdown, children have been keeping busy and staying safe with their Whanau at home.

BestStart @ Home (online teaching and learning) was very popular! The children enjoyed attending our regular Zoom mat times and events to keep in touch with their Kaiako and friends at the centre.

It’s been wonderful to see the interactions and connections of our team with whanau and children.

We can’t wait to see all children back at the centre! Take care and stay safe.
