In our unique small nursery room, recently the tamariki (children) have had the opportunity to create strong bonds with their peers and the kaiako (teachers). The room is fill of lots of laughter an strong friendships.This allows the tamariki to learnt to play alongside each others and develop skills such as turn taking and sharing. Recently our older tamariki have been exploring the wonderful world of science, and as part of this there were lots of opportunities to talk about reactions and what happens when colours are mixed together. During these reactions there were a vast range of questioning and thinking about processes.
