What's that sound?
The children have been learning about the different sounds things make and learning to link the sounds they hear with the objects that make them. Quite a few of our tamariki have an interest in vehicles and are enjoying learning the different sounds that different vehicles make. To link that to real life experiences and objects we had a visit from a big truck. The tamariki enjoyed this experience and for many it was their first time seeing a big truck up close. They were able to walk around the outside of it and also explore the inside of it with their teachers support. What a great learning experience and a great way to support our children to make connections with the wider world.
