We welcome everyone to BestStart Cranford Street and today, we invited all our whānau in the Nursery to come and join us for a shared morning tea. We were so thankful for all the whānau who turned up and helped make this event so fun and exciting for the tamariki. Not only did they get to be involved and see the daily routine within the Nursery, but experience the activities and learning right alongside their little ones.

As part of our vision, we aim to grow our whanaungatanga and have strong relationships with all the people involved in the tamariki lives. Everyone your child loves and knows plays a big part in who they are, and how they grow and learn. So, it is important that we involve each child's whānau within the running of our centre. We utilise special occasions like these to provide fun and informal gatherings for us all to come together and support the tamariki in their space. As a result, our they strengthen their sense of belonging as their whānau become a part of their room.
