At BestStart Pharazyn Street our current project is "Who Am I Today". We have provided the tamariki with different materials and resources where they can explore their interest and imagination.

In the past few weeks we have busy doctors, builders, artist, sculptors and designers working in Whakapuawai room. Through dramatic play, the tamariki learnt to share and take turns, develop a respectful and positive approach in working alongside their peers, share responsibility and problem-solving.

Dramatic play can be also a stepping stone for the tamariki to learn to regulate their own emotions and actions. It also encourages their language and communications as they are able to share their ideas and feelings to others.
