Winter 2023 at BestStart Gillies Avenue
Recapping our winter 2023 at BestStart Gillies Avenue, we had a big revamp of our environment in time for the spring. And we're proud to showcase our beautiful indoor space with endless resources where our children can create and lead their own learning. Winter might bring more rain but this didn't stop us from getting out and about. Together with our families, we reached out to our community (We even got to explore the fire engine at Epsom Library!) or simply enjoyed a little peaceful walk around the block finding colourful leaves falling from the tree and soaking in some sun. Our babies love the walk as they also get to explore and of course, have the best snooze in the prams.
As our centre philosophy stands with nature, we hope to begin a new project 'Forest Kindy' where our children can be inspired and explore in a natural environment. It is centred around the child and interweaves the marvels, potential and challenges of the natural world throughout the seasons, encouraging discovery and wonder. We currently have an open day where all families are welcomed to come and stay. We look forward to meeting you then.
