Worm Farming
We are looking forward to collecting our food scraps and feeding them to the worms in order to collect worm tea and castings for our gardens. As we are all learning about worm farming, if any whanau can give us any pointers on how to care for them, please feel free to come in and help us out. Then Sam, Narrell and Storm went out to the māra to find a good spot for it to go. In between the feijoa trees seems the perfect spot. They put the soaked egg cartons and food scraps they collected at lunchtime into the farm and put it into its new spot in the māra.
