At Regent Kindy the highlight of the school holidays are our Holiday programmes. Each day we run themed days with exciting activities and dress up days. Because Anzac day fell in this school holidays we took the opportunity to educate our tamariki (children) on the importance of Anzac day. We did this through story, song, dress up, craft and baking.

The children also enjoyed exploring science with our baking day and messy play day. They got to bring their bikes and scooters and we used our carpark for a wheels day. We even ended the school holidays with a dress up and movie day.

Whanaungatanga (relationships) are a very important part of the programme we run here at Regent Kindy and family involvement is a big part of this. Our families always get right behind our school holiday activities and look forward to these as much as our children.
