Yay! Summer is here.
Over the last few weeks, our tamariki within the Nga Tipu Room have loved being outside in the sunny and warm weather. Messy play, water play, art, and climbing have remained a constant favorite for everyone - tamariki are learning to share, take turns, build on their communication and social skills, and further develop their sense of balance and coordination while investigating the capabilities of their own bodies.
They are also learning about colors, shapes, textures, patterns, letters, and numbers. We have also been having fun getting to know new friends and practicing being calm and gentle around others. Such a lot of fun and a sense of wonder each day.
