At BestStart Blenheim Central, our two converted villas provide warm, welcoming spaces for children to play, learn and explore. Each space gives children plenty of opportunities to play with friends, get creative, follow their interests or enjoy some quiet time of their own.

Children have access to a range of resources and experiences to keep them curious, active and engaged throughout the day. Our indoor and outdoor spaces give children plenty of room to explore, play and enjoy time together.

While each classroom has its own space and routines, we're one welcoming community where children and teachers get to know each other and feel at home.

Koru(Under 2's)

Koru is a calm, nurturing space where younger children can feel safe and secure as they discover the world around them. With a slower-paced environment and experiences that reflect children's interests and development, children are encouraged to explore and grow at their own pace.

Plenty of space to explore: Our large outdoor area includes an undercover sandpit, messy play and water play, giving children lots of opportunities to get active and discover new things.
New experiences every day: Play experiences are introduced based on what children are interested in and ready to explore, helping them build confidence and develop new skills through everyday play.
Learning together: Children learn alongside their peers in a warm, supportive environment. Younger children can learn by watching older children, while older children build confidence through helping and being positive role models.

Koru is a welcoming space where children can take their time, build relationships and develop a strong sense of belonging as they grow.

Rito(Over 2's)

Rito is a vibrant, busy space where children can follow their interests, make choices and learn through play, with support and guidance from their teachers. There are plenty of opportunities to explore, try new things and build confidence in a fun and engaging environment.

Room to explore: Our large outdoor area includes a concrete bike track, huge sandpit, messy play areas and a lazy river with running water, giving children plenty of opportunities to get creative, solve problems and play together.
Getting ready for school: Our Set for School programme is part of everyday activities, with dedicated 4-year-old mat times where children can practise letters, numbers and writing their names while building early literacy and numeracy skills.
Building independence: Children are encouraged to look after themselves and their belongings, make choices and take responsibility for everyday tasks, helping them develop confidence and independence for their next big step.

Rito is a fun and active space where children can build friendships, develop new skills and grow in confidence as they get ready for school.
