BestStart Botany Junction is an early learning centre located in Flat Bush, Auckland. We provide high-quality early education and award-winning childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

At BestStart Botany Junction, our vision is to nurture confidence and capability in every child. We achieve this through a play-based approach encompassing 16 areas of play, ensuring holistic development. Our Set for School programme is designed to prepare children for their next educational steps. Additionally, we offer cooked meals and have earned the Healthy Heart Award, underscoring our commitment to your child's well-being.

Located in the vibrant, multicultural community of Flat Bush, our centre benefits from the beauty and convenience of the local area. Botany Junction shops, cafes, restaurants, and Barry Curtis Park are all within walking distance, providing our children with regular opportunities to explore and engage with their community. Historical landmarks like Ormiston Bridge and the old church add a rich context to our excursions.

We host regular story time sessions with visits from a librarian, and our community excursions help our tamariki become confident learners both within and outside the centre. We also celebrate a diverse range of cultural occasions, reflecting our commitment to a Tiriti-based multicultural Aotearoa New Zealand.

Our Team

We have a dedicated team who pride themselves on creating a warm, loving environment for both children and their families, where feedback and working together in partnership is valued. Our stable team, many of whom have been with us since we opened in 2019, are passionate about helping children learn and develop confidence.

Our Spaces

Our centre boasts a bright and open learning environment tailored to toddlers and preschoolers. The shared outdoor space, with ample shade and engaging play areas, promotes physical activity and fosters a love for exploration. We encourage Tuakana-Teina learning, where older children mentor younger ones, enhancing their social skills.
