BestStart Dannemora is located off Te Irirangi Drive, down a quiet street with plenty of car parking. The centre is easily accessible and our award-winning childcare creates a stimulating learning environment for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Toddler room teachers, I want to take a moment to thank you. Owen came from South Africa only understanding Afrikaans. He has transformed from a little mumbling boy to an almost full-blown English-speaking toddler. He can sing Old MacDonald, Baby Shark, The Wheels on the Bus and Twinkle Twinkle Little star all on his own. He surprises me daily. My biggest concern was if my kids will fit in. The teachers have encouraged his friendship with Yunus and today they are best friends. They have taught him so much. I would like to thank them for their patience, determination and their love. They have helped him grow and develop so much. I do not need to worry if he is eating enough, or if he is happy or making friends. I can see it. Thank you!

Amita, Dinali, Jackie, Sue… a very, very special thank you! Chunky is my last born and my precious little angel. She is so clever, and I can see why. The things that you teach her is amazing. Singing “If you’re happy and you know it” is a joy during bath time as Chunky knows the moves off by heart. She is not scared to try new things and her appetite…wow, she eats more than me! I cannot thank you enough for all that you do for her. The staff are amazing, the centre is neat, tidy and child friendly. I am excited to see what the future holds for the centre and for the kids. The unexpected Storypark notifications with updates on the kids is a bonus. The fact that my children have people in their lives that love them as much as I do, makes me happy.

My daughter has only been with you guys for a month, however I think your magic is the reassurance that the teachers love my child as much as I do and it shows! What makes you come back to our centre everyday? I love coming to drop off and pick my little girl up and hear about all the things they have done for the day. You are her second family, I love that the most. You guys are honest and if it’s been a bad one, you’ll say so. I respect that! Best centre I could have chosen! What are the little things we do that you love? When I pick little miss up, her teachers are always up for a good conversation about anything! Not just about my daughter, anything! I quite often hang around when picking her up to catch up with her teachers and have a good old laugh. Thank you for being the second family to my baby and taking care of her as your own. I couldn’t rave about you guys enough!

I would say the atmosphere is wonderful. You will always see the kids happy and teachers too are always smiling. My daughter is always happy to hear that she is going to Kindy . She wants to share her stories with her teachers . Being stress free after dropping her to the centre is the best feeling any parent can have. Thanks for looking after her so well. It’s just been two months she is coming to the centre, what I loved is how you celebrate all cultures and kids know it’s Diwali or Xmas or Chinese New Year. So good to c all those activities you guys organise for them to have fun. Once again, thank you all the staff for giving us that confidence and satisfaction to drop our kids in happy and safe environments.

The magic is Anya comes home weekly with new words and good behaviors that wowed my husband and I. Her progress is so impressive thanks to the teachers. I feel safe knowing that Anya is under the care of this daycare. We have been to one other daycare and we just didn’t think that it was a safe environment for our little girl. For me, I love it that the staff turnover rate is low, I get to know the teachers personally and trust them completely. I love the little things like creativity and fun on the daily activities. There are just soo many things that we love about this daycare!!! Well done Belinda in leading your team this way and keep it up. :)

Your magic AND what keeps me coming back everyday is the happy smiling faces of staff, the warm welcome everyday, the good chats about Hannah and about other random topics! And Hannah no longer has a meltdown every single day when she goes to daycare, she can tell me we are going to daycare and who she will play with each day then when she gets home tells stories about her friends and her teachers. Thank you for making it easy to leave my baby with you guys everyday :)

I am a firm believer that success filters through from management. So, Belinda, as the Dumbledore of your Hogwarts, I would say that the magic starts with you. You stand behind your staff and support them every step of the way which enables them to overachieve our expectations as parents. The magic of BestStart Dannemora is not the clean facility, not the healthy and wholesome food our kids eat, not the curriculum but I believe it is the entire team at BestStart Dannemora that makes our future wizards shine. You make me want to come back every day because of the way that my kids are loved, cared for, encouraged to try new things, taught right from wrong plus the staff always have time for a chat ( I do talk a lot, sorry!), for a laugh and for some encouragement. Owen and Olivia have done so well since joining the centre and it melts my heart to hear and see them do and say things which I simply cannot get to teaching them as a full time working mom. You make raising my kids easy. There are so many little things that are done that are unseen and forgotten but they tend to be the most important. The smiles in the morning when I sign in and drop the kids off, the artwork that I unexpectedly find in their bags, little drawings of Spider-Man on Owen’s hand which he never wants to wash off, the stories of fun and exciting games and play with friends and teachers, walking in on a room full of kids on a mat listening to a story, allowing me to visit them during my lunch break when I am having a bad day, the cuddles when they fall down and wiping off countless tears. I love going to the centre and my kids love being there (Olivia fights to get into the car when its home time ) All I can say is THANK YOU!
