Discover our unique rooms

We have beautiful natural elements to our centre environments such as a natural stream bringing fantastic natural life into our playground every year - our children particularly love duckling season!

Ōpāwaho Ruma(Under 2's)

Our cosy Under 2s room is a loving space created especially for our youngest pēpi. With smaller group sizes and caring, responsive teachers, your child will receive the individual attention, comfort, and support they need to feel safe, secure, and confident.

Through meaningful serve and return interactions, our teachers build strong relationships with each child, responding to their cues, interests, and communication. These everyday moments help lay the foundations for healthy brain development, emotional wellbeing, and a lifelong love of learning.

Our purposefully designed indoor and outdoor environments support the unique developmental needs of infants and toddlers, while personalised experiences encourage exploration, curiosity, and the achievement of important milestones.

We also intentionally nurture children's social and emotional competencies, helping them develop confidence, resilience, empathy, and a strong sense of belonging. At the heart of everything we do is love, care, and genuine connection. We partner closely with whānau to ensure every child feels valued, respected, and celebrated for who they are.

Ōtākaro Ruma(2 - 3.5 years)

In the Ōtākaro room you will see our busy over toddlers. This room is bustling with excitement and is set up to help foster more independence as tamariki start feeling the need to make their own decisions.

The classroom is inspired by the children's current interests to promote their natural curiosity
Large natural outdoor space with natural aspects to explore and a playground to challenge
Collaboration is encouraged, particularly with the older children next door so they can learn from one another

Ihutai Ruma(3.5+ years)

Our prep-room is where children begin preparing for their next exciting milestone, starting primary school. Through our Set for School Programme, we intentionally support children from the age of four to develop the skills, confidence, and positive attitudes needed for a successful transition to school and a lifelong love of learning.

The programme focuses on building communication, independence, and self-help skills, while placing a strong emphasis on developing social and emotional competencies. Children are supported to build resilience, self-regulation, problem-solving skills, confidence, and positive relationships, helping them feel ready to thrive in a school environment. We believe that starting school is a journey for the whole family. From the time your child turns four, we work closely alongside whānau, providing guidance, support, and practical information to help families navigate the transition to primary school with confidence.

Our learning experiences are designed to encourage curiosity, critical thinking, collaboration, and a growth mindset, ensuring children are equipped with the skills they need not only for school, but for life. As children approach their fifth birthday, we celebrate their achievements and readiness for their next adventure with a special Graduation Ceremony, recognising their growth, learning journey, and the unique strengths they will take with them into school.
