About our centre
BestStart Kauri Flats is a modern early learning centre located in the heart of Takanini.
The name of our centre and the area is inspired by the Kauri Tree. During the development of this area, large quantities of buried logs and roots of Kauri Trees were excavated, which is how the area came to be named. We are deeply inspired by the spirit of the Kauri Tree, and its essence is embedded in all our centre procedures. We uphold the values of Whanaugatanga, Wananga, Ako, Manaakitanga, and Whakamana in our approach to teaching and learning. We offer quality care and education for children aged 3 months to school age, with our vision, "Inspiring Through Play," empowering children to explore, create, and grow in a warm, welcoming environment.
