We have a warm airy environment with natural light and a large bedroom big enough to accommodate cots for every child. We provide a nurturing and loving environment with flexible and unhurried routines to support children in developing their own sense of self-worth, identity, confidence, and enjoyment.
Respectful and reciprocal relationships are essential for us to be able to support families when leaving their precious Taonga in our care.

Koru room2-3 years
The Koru provides a curriculum that allows children to learn in a context that fits their learning style, culture, and place in time. We balance our curriculum by providing times of concentrated learning and physical activity, while also sessions of relaxation, reading, and creative expression.
We develop positive, responsive relationships with children and families. We value the cultural anchor that guides each child’s identity and behavior.
Mako Room3+ years
The Mako room provides a more structured environment within a play-based curriculum. Tamariki is supported to develop social and emotional competence alongside a sense of belonging and respect for others.
Our school-ready program supports tamariki to develop the skills required for easy transition to school with confidence, independence, resilience, a sense of inquiry, and the ability to scaffold upon their previous learning experiences.
