Every week, our tamariki head out on adventures such as visiting the library, popping into Welbourn School to build connections, wandering the Mangorei walkway, or exploring the nearby pā site. Rolling down hills, climbing trees, spotting native birds and chatting about the plants around us are all ways we encourage exploration in our local community.

We also encourage curiosity inside the centre. Each Friday, we host small‑group time to give tamariki the chance to dive into special projects including sewing on a real machine or creating art with new materials.

Behind all the fun is a strong, steady foundation. Our teaching philosophy is grounded in brain development research, demonstrating consistency and predictability to build strong, healthy brains. We create calm routines, clear expectations and thoughtful transitions so children feel safe and we work closely with families right from the start of the enrolment process to make sure every child feels known, supported, and celebrated to build warm, trusting relationships.

Our centre cook also provides fresh, healthy meals each day and our well-resourced centre is conveniently situated just outside the city centre in a peaceful location with plenty of parking - perfect for families that work in the CBD.
