Our large, well established and sunny garden provides am expansive space for our tamariki to explore, challenge and learn. Our thoughtfully resourced, prepared environment with specially designed materials creates a respectful learning environment promoting inclusiveness and a strong sense of community.

Infant HouseUnder 2's

In the Infant House, our children thrive in a caring and nurturing whānau-focused learning environment. We work closely with families to meet each child's individual needs, fostering a sense of belonging and support. Through the Montessori philosophy, children engage in practical life activities, sensorial work, and self-care skills, all while learning grace and courtesy. Our teachers role model effective communication and negotiation, guiding children towards independence. Embracing the diversity of our families and community, we encourage our tamariki to become kaitiaki (guardians) of their environment, nurturing a deep respect for their surroundings and each other.

Casa House2 - 3.5 years old

In Casa House, we prioritize the development of independence and concentration in our tamariki through engaging, hands-on activities. Children are encouraged to immerse themselves in their work, spending extended periods to solidify learning and enhance concentration. Our learning materials are thoughtfully curated to stimulate problem-solving skills and foster a sense of achievement. Alongside academic growth, we emphasize the importance of self-help skills, such as preparing their own kai, tidying up, dressing independently, and caring for personal belongings. Respect for others and the environment is ingrained through our teaching of grace and courtesy, providing children with the tools to navigate social interactions and contribute positively to their community.

Childrens House3.5 years +

In the Children's House, we create a nurturing Montessori-based environment designed to foster independence, respect, resilience, grace, and courtesy. Our atmosphere is calm and peaceful, encouraging children to develop into lifelong learners who embrace their interests and cultural backgrounds. We celebrate diversity and kindness, promoting inclusiveness among all tamariki. As your child prepares for school, they engage in our Set for School programme with comprehensive learning experiences covering language, literacy, numeracy, science, and geography. Our methodical and orderly approach challenges them to build resilience and concentration, preparing them effectively for the next stages of their educational journey. Our carefully prepared environment supports a respectful and enriching learning environment, ensuring each child thrives academically and socially.
