At BestStart Paerata Rise, we are a purpose-built centre based inside a new and developing subdivision.


We are located within walking distance from the local school and café, alongside many parks. As a centre, we believe in providing tamariki with the highest quality of care, enabling them with the skills needed to grow as young members of our community.

Paerata Rise gets its name from the ridge that runs through the area, which was once covered in rātā trees. We have embraced this knowledge of our community and worked in collaboration with some of our whānau to name our classrooms after the four stages of a tree's growth.

Our centre philosophy:
At BestStart Paerata Rise, we strive to nurture children as individuals and guide them through their learning journey, from Kākano to Puāwai, through aroha, manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, and kaitiakitanga.
