BestStart Papakura East Kindy is a culturally diverse early learning centre that feels like home. Our centre is a warm, welcoming place where tamariki are given the freedom and opportunities to explore and learn at their own pace.
Our friendly team of teachers work alongside families to establish strong relationships between the centre, whanau, and children while supporting children through individualised learning plans during each stage of their development. We have special connections with the local community and incorporate this into our centre activities such as visits to local businesses and the library.
Our friendly & experienced teaching team promote respect, nurturing, and a welcoming atmosphere within the centre. We are committed to working with families to provide learning opportunities for tamariki and we value our strong relationships with the community, whanau, the Papakura Marae, and local agencies.
Our learning environments are large open spaces designed to develop ideas, make friends, and establish an enthusiasm for learning. Our stimulating, safe environments inspire curiosity and encourage children to learn through play.
To extend the learning of our tamāriki, kaiako added varying objects, coloured water and a dry mixture of baking soda and citric acid; tamāriki then witnessed science reaction of bubbly foam and fizzing noises.... Bubble, bubble, bubble, POP!!
