Discover our unique rooms

Our learning spaces are enriched with love and the atmosphere is calm and nurturing. Our indoor spaces are built to support the learning and development of every age group with high-quality resources designed to spark curious minds. We have an expansive outdoor playground where children challenge themselves, building their independence and self-confidence.

Paua Room(Under 2's)

Our Paua Room is a calm, peaceful environment designed to feel just like home. Our pēpi and toddlers are cared for with gentleness, respect, and lots of one-on-one time. With soft spaces for crawling and exploration and a focus on developing secure attachments, tamariki grow confidence at their own pace.

  • Responsive, loving kaiako
  • Flexible routines that align with home
  • Sensory and exploratory play that supports early brain development

Patangaroa Room(2-year-olds)

In the Patangaroa Room, our energetic two-year-olds thrive in an environment full of curiosity and discovery. This space supports growing independence, social play, and big emotions. We nurture language, routines, and self-help skills in a way that feels fun and empowering for every child.

  • Warm transitions from Paua to Patangaroa
  • Whānau-focused partnerships around routines like toilet learning
  • Fun, hands-on activities that support learning through movement

Aihe Room(3-year-olds)

The Aihe Room is full of imagination, expression, and collaborative play. Here, our 3-year-olds begin to develop deeper friendships and stronger voices. The environment invites questions, role-play, group activities, and problem-solving. It’s a space where tamariki learn who they are and how they fit into the world.

  • Culturally responsive activities linked to Te Whāriki
  • A strong sense of belonging and identity
  • Smooth, supported transitions into more structured learning

Tohorā Room(4 & 5-year-olds)

Tohorā is where our oldest tamariki prepare to take their next big step —Set for school! The room blends child-led learning with project work and early literacy/numeracy skills, all grounded in play. We support tamariki to grow as leaders, thinkers, and kind friends who care for each other and their environment.

  • Focus on school-readiness in a nurturing, playful way
  • Strong support in building resilience and independence
