Our Ruma Rakau room is an environment where play is the essence of learning, our Kaiako/teachers support and encourage your tamariki/children to become independent, confident and capable learners through learning experiences that support their natural urge to play and explore. We see our tamariki as being innately wise, curious and capable beings. Through this we feel we are nourishing their roots to set a strong foundation for learning. As kaiako and tamariki work together through shared learning, we ensure that the sharing of interests and experiences helps support our tamariki to spread their wings and flourish.
