Our Manuka Room is a nurturing space designed for babies and toddlers under 2 years, where your child can feel safe, secure and supported as they begin exploring the world around them. Children are encouraged to move, play and discover at their own pace, supported by caring teachers who respect their individual needs and routines.

• Space to explore: A large outdoor area with plenty of natural shade gives babies and toddlers the freedom to move, explore and discover their surroundings at their own pace.

• Start with Heart: Our Start with Heart programme supports your child's early development through nurturing relationships, responsive care and meaningful everyday learning experiences.

• Unhurried, respectful care: Everyday routines are approached calmly and respectfully, giving teachers time to respond to each child's individual needs and allowing these moments to become an important part of their day.

Our Manuka Room provides a gentle and nurturing start to early learning, giving your child the time, space and support they need to explore and grow with confidence.

Our Pohutukawa Room is designed for children aged 2–3.5 years, supporting them through an exciting stage as their communication, confidence and relationships begin to grow. Our teachers provide a supportive environment where children can express themselves, connect with others and develop confidence in their own abilities.

• Building communication skills: Children are supported as they develop and strengthen their communication, helping them express their ideas, needs and feelings with growing confidence.

• Growing relationships: Through everyday interactions and shared experiences, children build the foundations for positive relationships with their friends and the adults around them.

• Confident learners: Teachers encourage children to recognise what they can do, helping build confidence in themselves and their growing abilities as learners.

Our Pohutukawa Room supports children to become confident communicators and capable learners, while developing the relationship skills that will support them as they grow.

Our Kahikatea Room is designed for children aged 3.5 years and over, supporting them to build the confidence, independence and skills they need as they move closer to starting school. Children are encouraged to have a go, make choices and take increasing ownership of their learning.

• Set for School: In the term before starting primary school, every child participates in our Set for School programme, helping them build the skills and confidence for a positive transition to school.

• Growing independence: Children are supported to develop independence and social skills, encouraging a positive “can do” attitude as they learn to manage new experiences and challenges.

• Confident, capable learners: Children are empowered to explore their interests, make choices and take the lead in their learning, helping them see themselves as capable and enthusiastic learners.

Our Kahikatea Room helps children feel confident and ready for their next step, building strong foundations for a positive transition from early learning to school.
