In the Paua Room, we embrace child-led projects and experiences, placing a strong emphasis on building relationships, particularly through the Tuakana teina model, which fosters social and emotional competence. Our Preschool features a variety of thoughtfully designed areas tailored to the children's interests and needs. These include a family corner equipped with dress-ups, dolls, prams, and a kitchen setup, which is a favorite and lively space for imaginative play.
Our building and construction area is filled with blocks, cars, trains, and Duplo, providing endless opportunities for creativity and exploration. We also love engaging in various art activities, including messy play, water play, playdough, and painting. Outdoors, children can enjoy a large sandpit, fort, and play areas that are rearranged daily to keep play fresh and exciting. With swings, challenge courses, balance beams, climbing boxes, and slides, our outdoor environment offers numerous opportunities for adventure and physical development, ensuring a fun and enriching experience for all.
