At BestStart Salisbury Street, we proudly celebrate the rich diversity of our centre and the strong, meaningful connections we build with families every day. Located in the heart of central Christchurch, our newly renovated centre offers a calm, welcoming environment where children from 3 months to 6 years can grow, explore and thrive across two thoughtfully designed learning spaces.

Community and connection sit at the centre of everything we do. We celebrate a wide range of cultures through everyday experiences and special family events that bring people together and help children develop a strong sense of identity and belonging. Regular excursions to our local library support early literacy and give children real world learning experiences that spark curiosity and confidence.

Open from 6:30am to 5:30pm, we are here to support busy working families and make the day run a little more smoothly. We also take care of the everyday essentials like providing nutritious meals, helping take the pressure off mornings so you can focus on what matters most.
