BestStart Stokes Valley

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of Stokes Valley, BestStart Stokes Valley is just a two minute walk from the local shops, library, swimming pool and Koraunui Community Hub. Our location allows us to be an active part of the local community, helping children connect their learning with the world around them and build confidence, curiosity and a strong sense of belonging.

Our vision, “Together, we enrich the lives of others,” guides everything we do. We create a welcoming and nurturing environment where children, whānau and teachers learn and grow together, underpinned by our values of manaakitanga (care and respect), kotahitanga (unity and collaboration), and whanaungatanga (meaningful relationships).

Our diverse teaching team brings a wealth of experience and cultural knowledge, with educators from Filipino, Indian, Fijian Indian, South African, and Zimbabwean backgrounds. This diversity strengthens our sense of community and gives children opportunities to develop respect, understanding, and appreciation for different cultures and perspectives.
