BestStart Waitangirua
BestStart Waitangirua is an early learning centre located in Porirua. We provide award-winning childcare and early education for infants, toddlers and preschoolers aged from 0 to 6 years old between 7:30 am - 5:30 pm.
Growing Neighbourhood Heroes
Our early learning centre is situated in the heart of Waitangirua amongst a community rich in diversity. At BestStart Waitangirua, relationships between the centre and whānau are at the heart of everything we do. Through these relationships, we provide exciting and engaging learning opportunities for tamariki.
Our connections to the local community extend beyond our centre and we aim to create positive connections with the community through regular excursions and centre events. We routinely welcome families to the centre to share their involvement within the local community and showcase what makes them a neighbourhood hero.
Our Team
Our diverse, experienced team of teachers are dedicated to your child's learning and we collaborate closely with families to set goals and aspirations for children and their whānau. We aim to establish strong, positive relationships by routinely welcoming families to participate in centre events and promoting strong connections between the centre, whanau, and the local community.
