BestStart Waiuku has been a valued part of the Waiuku community since 2008, playing a key role in nurturing tamariki and their whanau. We provide an open, engaging and inclusive centre that enables each child to learn and flourish as independent learners. Our local curriculum is deeply connected to the community, incorporating the significance of the feather as a symbol of each child’s learning journey. This journey is celebrated through rituals that highlight the progression of each child, culminating in the creation of their unique kete of knowledge and belonging.
Our team at BestStart Waiuku is dedicated to creating a nurturing and supportive environment where tamariki can learn and grow. Our teachers (kaiako) are passionate about fostering each child’s individual learning path, and we welcome whanau involvement through traditions such as family nights and events like our annual Christmas party. Together, we celebrate the growth of tamariki within our community, strengthening their sense of belonging and connection.
As the days get longer and the sun shines brighter, spring is arriving in full swing at BestStart Waiuku, and our little learners couldn't be more excited!
