Come learn with us
It’s so full of life around here because this is what learning looks like!
Early childhood teachers know that exploring is what drives brain development in our youngest learners. That means taking risks, getting messy, being creative and playing are how infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers learn best.
Early childhood education is play with a plan. Teachers watch children play and notice what they are interested in and where they need support. They use these observations to create activities and experiences that support a child’s learning in social skills, emotions, coordination, early numeracy and literacy, language and development. During play and everyday moments, teachers encourage and assist children to explore, problem solve, remember things and express themselves.
Research shows babies brain capacities grow when they experience positive emotions with a caring and trusted adult. We have a special Our Pepe initiative and a specialised infant programme.
Toddlers need room to explore and make choices. The teacher’s role is to support them to learn new skills while they play and become more independent. At BestStart, children are given an individual programme to encourage them to achieve their learning milestones.
Preschoolers need teachers who will answer their questions and encourage them to share their ideas. At this age, teachers are using play to prepare children for primary school and a lifetime of learning.
Our teachers will help nurture your child’s development during these precious first years.
