Preparing lunch- setting the foundations of an important life skill
Over the past month Kaiako have been encouraging and involving tamariki in the process of making playdough. To extend children’s interest in cooking we organised a simple and developmentally appropriate food preparation activity-preparing ham burger for lunch. This activity promoted children’s healthy eating habits, social skills, literacy, numeracy and creativity.
