TopKids Mangere East visit Christina’s Retirement Hospital.
During the visit the children performed some action songs and displayed such confidence/whakamanawa as they sung their waiata and did actions. After the song the children spent time with the residents, by shaking hands and giving hugs. Some of the residents had tears of joy. We took some afternoon tea and shared stories from them. It was a wonderful way to connect our community and bring joy to others. Tino pai tamariki and kaiako from Te Whare Marama.
