We were delighted to welcome Hon Erica Stanford, Minister of Education and Immigration, alongside Dr Carlos Cheung and Hon Melissa Lee, to our centre!
It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our beautiful learning spaces, from our Pepe room through to our Toru room, and share the incredible work our passionate team does every day to nurture, inspire and support our tamariki.
We enjoyed meaningful conversations about our whānau partnerships, diverse learners, community-focused services and our Set for School programme, as well as the important role of agencies in supporting families and strengthening our communities.
We are incredibly proud to share what makes BestStart Stoddard Road so special: our children, our long-serving team, our whānau and the strong relationships that sit at the heart of everything we do. These connections create a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported and empowered to learn and grow.
A big thank you to our special guests for taking the time to visit us and for engaging so openly in conversations about early childhood education and the needs of our diverse communities.
We are grateful for the opportunity to showcase our centre and highlight the meaningful difference quality early childhood education makes in the lives of children and their families.
Together, we are building strong foundations for lifelong learning!
