The New Year at BestStart Borman Road has kicked off with incredible energy and joy.
From January 5th to the 30th, our tamariki dived into our summer holiday theme: Little Kiwis Summer Explorers.
Over the last 4 weeks, we focused on fostering curiosity and community connection through a series of exciting adventures and hands-on learning experiences. Our tamariki took their exploration beyond the classroom with several local excursions.
Enjoying the sunshine at our local park and visiting Ice cream Alley was a delightful treat that brought smiles to everyone's faces. To make the season even more memorable, we hosted our summer carnival. The centre was buzzing with excitement as children enjoyed a bouncy castle, creative face painting and a variety of interactive games.
It was a wonderful way to celebrate the spirit of summer and the bonds of our tamariki. These past four weeks have been about more than just fun, but also an exciting journey of learning and growth. As we transition from our holiday programme into the new school year, our children are entering the term with newfound confidence.
We are so proud of our tamariki and can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds!
