Adventure to Stardome : Exploring the Universe with our little stars
Our little explorers embarked on a magical journey to space! We gathered together for an extraordinary adventure that not only sparked their imaginations but also deepened their understanding of the universe around them. It was an experience filled with wonder, curiosity, learning, and memories.
The day began with excitement, as twinkling eyes entered the gallery to explore different planets and solar system models. The sun, moon, and Earth looked so real, and there were gasps of awe and excitement at how incredible our universe truly is.
We then headed outdoors to experience the "rocket launch." There were rocket models made with soda bottles, and Jake demonstrated three different ways to launch the rocket into the air. We had so much fun watching the rockets soar and seeing how far they could go.
After a morning filled with exploration, we visited the planetarium to watch how the planets, sun, and moon look during both night and day. We also saw the Southern Cross and various constellations. The children enjoyed a short movie, ‘Tycho the Dog,’ as he explored different planets in space.
As we headed back, the children buzzed with excitement, sharing their favourite moments and what they remembered from their visit. This trip was not just an adventure—it was an opportunity for our little learners to connect with the universe and each other in ways that will inspire their young minds.
