When children graduate from BestStart Railway Road for school students often present us with an appreciation gift. When Connor’s sister Emily turned five she planted an apple tree in our children’s orchard. 18th months later her apple tree produced apples, enabling her brother Connor to venture out to the children’s orchard with his friends to harvest the apples, which were added to a muffin mixture for tamariki afternoon tea.
