Art Projects at Montessori Rongotai
What better way to be expressive and share discussions than through art?! Art can be a very soothing, relaxing time - so please take your time and be as creative as you can be.
The fun thing is, we also get to learn about these artists as well as recreate our own piece of work.
Below is your first artist we will begin to learn about - Wassily Kandinsky.
What shapes can you see? What shapes did Kandinsky use?
Every creation will be different. In saying that, art isn't only when you put paint to paper! Art can be expressed in various different ways - music, dance, drama, writing!
You can use lose parts around your home to create a masterpiece - go on a walk and collect stuff - stones, sticks, leaves, find things in your home -cutlery, wooden blocks, pencils, the list goes on.
Use this time to think and express your feelings in whatever form you choose. Remember you are the artist recreating Kadinsky's work.
We are so excited to see the finished results.
