At BestStart Te Awamutu, we are proud to be part of a community that values connections with whānau, and the wellbeing of all tamariki.

Recently, our team had the wonderful opportunity to be part of the Te Awamutu Plunket Community Open Day.

Our presence at the event allowed us to connect with local whānau, share what our centre has to offer, and support the incredible work that Plunket does in our community.

Children who visited our space enjoyed sensory play activities and craft creations, while our teachers chatted with families about early learning and centre transitions. It was also a great chance for us to catch up with familiar faces and welcome new ones — reinforcing how strong community relationships help tamariki thrive.

We value these opportunities to give back and to stand alongside organisations like Plunket, who play such an important role in supporting families during their parenting journeys.

A big thank you to Plunket for hosting such a meaningful event and for inviting us to be part of it. We look forward to continuing to support our community and building partnerships that put tamariki at the heart of everything we do.
