Every year BestStart Balclutha have a whānau Christmas evening get together. Tamariki, kaiako, whānau and Santa spend a wonderful evening chatting, playing and enjoying each others company. 

This year we were able to use the local Athletics Club rooms and grounds for our event, this gave us lots of room to run and play.

We were fortunate to have the services of an ice-cream van, “Whipp’d Ice Creams,” run by one of our whānau, come along so everyone could enjoy a cool treat on a beautiful summers evening. 

Santa arrived in style, the local fire engine delivered him much to the delight of our tamariki. His gifts were also appreciated.
This evening is all about our wonderful BestStart Balclutha community and the relationships and connections we have built over time.
