BestStart Dey St visit the farm!
A few weeks ago, we had a visit from a Fonterra Tanker to further build on the children's knowledge around where milk comes from. And to further extend on to this learning, BestStart Dey took a group of children to one of the teacher's dairy farms. The children were able to see the milking process in action and explore and learn about all the milking equipment and see how milk was transferred to the tankers from the shed. The Fonterra drivers were amazing as they were involved through this process and offered to join us on the farm and being able to revisit the learning with them.
