At BestStart Borman, we proudly celebrated Big Heart Appeal Day by hosting a vibrant and energetic Sports Carnival for our tamariki.
The centre was filled with excitement as each room dressed in their own special colours—our Babies looked adorable in blue, Toddlers shone brightly in green, and our Preschool tamariki added a splash of pink to the day.
The atmosphere was joyful and full of laughter as the children participated in a variety of fun and engaging games. From obstacle courses to ball activities, every experience was thoughtfully arranged to encourage movement, teamwork, and confidence. Tamariki showed enthusiasm and determination as they explored each activity, cheered on by kaiako and their peers.
To promote a healthy heart, tamariki also enjoyed a selection of colourful, nutritious foods. The vibrant fruits and healthy snacks not only matched the theme of the day but also encouraged positive eating habits and well-being. The Sports Carnival was not only about physical activity but also about coming together as a community to support the Big Heart Appeal.
It was heartwarming to see tamariki expressing kindness, sharing, and celebrating alongside one another. The day was a wonderful success, filled with colour, energy, smiles, and healthy choices. It was a meaningful way to support a great cause while creating lasting memories for everyone involved.
