Bike track in the bark

Our localised curriculum at BestStart Abacus reflects the strong links that we have with Bike Taupo and the passion that our tamariki have for riding their bikes and exploring and being adventurous in our beautiful natural outdoor space.

Today one of our kaiako set up a bike track in the bark and this allowed the children to challenge themselves in a safe way. The children were taking turns and supporting each other in Tuakana Teina relationships as the older more experienced children chanted the younger children's names.
