Recently, our tamariki had the chance to perform at a local retirement village, and it was an experience that will stay with everyone involved. The children not only showcased their talents but also demonstrated incredible confidence, speaking to the crowd with poise, despite their young age.
The residents were absolutely mesmerized by their performance. As part of the visit, our children also baked delicious treats and shared them with the residents during an afternoon tea. This simple yet powerful act of kindness allowed our tamariki to connect with the wider community in meaningful ways while learning valuable lessons of compassion, love, and care. We are so grateful to our supportive parents, who help make events like this possible. Your involvement and encouragement are vital in nurturing confident, competent learners who are ready to take on the world.
The retirement village has already invited us to return more frequently in the new year, as the residents truly value these interactions with the children.
